ESCAPE - The European Science Cluster of Astronomy & Particle Physics ESFRI Research Infrastructures has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement no. 824064.
This first meeting will highlight the achievements of the H2020 ESCAPE project to foster Open Science and data-intensive research, identify the next challenges for our scientific community, and provide an outlook on the current actions and future objectives within the framework of the ESCAPE Open Collaboration of Research Infrastructures in Astronomy, Particle and Nuclear Physics.
In the webinar "ESCAPE ESAPE and Citizen Science | Supporting Science Analysis and Enhancing Scientific Research", we will present the ESAP system, and describe how various services, data products, and tools from across the ESCAPE project have been integrated into it. We will also demonstrate how ESCAPE CS has been helping ESFRIs solving the deepest secrets of the universe.
We are pleased to announce that the ESCAPE Final Event will take place between 25 and 26 October 2022, at the Royal Belgium Institute of Natural Sciences, located in Brussels (Belgium). The event is open to all and free of charge.
The VO (Virtual Observatory) is set of standards and tools for data interoperability within astronomy. In the scope of the ESCAPE, the ESCAPE VO connects the data published on ESFRI to the EOSC using the VO.
After the ESCAPE kickoff meeting in February 2019, a 1st Progress Meeting in February 2020, and a 2nd in September 2021, this one-day General Assembly only, taking place on 25th May 2022, will bring together the ESCAPE General Assembly members and ESCAPE External Expert Advisory Board members.
When: 31st Mach 12pm CEST. In the webinar we will show the ESCAPE DIOS developments and achievements, by sharing testimonials from some of ESFRIs which are being supported by ESCAPE in facilitating their interdisciplinary research
