ESCAPE “ESFRI Science Analysis Platform” team is organising two 1-hour long Tech Talks in June to present the latest developments of the ESCAPE Science Analysis Platform (SAP), a service which will be a platform-service gateway with the capability to access and combine data from multiple collections and stage for subsequent processing and analysis.

The Tech Talks, open to all, will take place on:

  • - 22 June 2020 | 16:00 – 17:00 CEST: Rosetta: a container-centric science platform by Stefano A. Russo (INAF): managed by Stefano Russo (INAF), will focus on Rosetta, the first test of INAF (ESCAPE partner) in developing a science platform entirely based on software containers, with a particular focus on interactive workloads as remote desktops or Jupyter notebooks. Users can choose from a selection of pre-configured containers or setup their own ones, including third party containers from public registries. Rosetta supports generic local and remote computing resources as well as clusters, with support for both Docker and Singularity containers.
